4-H’ers Present Speeches at County Contest

The Fayette County 4-H Public Speaking Contest was held Tuesday, January 29that Buckley-Carpenter Elementary. We are proud of our Fayette Academy participants that competed. Below is a list of Fayette Academy’s First place club winners who will be moving on to the sub-regional contest:

 

4thgrade – Harris Armour, IV., Fayette Academy

6thgrade – Katie Halford, Fayette Academy

 

The sub-regional contest will be in March in Shelby County (details to be announced).

 

We would also like to congratulate all of our County 4-H Public Speaking contestants that placed in their division 


6th grade speech winners: From left to right, 1st place & Champion – Katie Halford (Fayette Academy), 2nd place – Carter Dennison (Rossville Christian Academy), and Isabella Marino (East Junior High).

5th grade speech contestants:
From left to right, contestants Grayson Robison and Chloe Yancey (both from Oakland Elementary), 1st place & Champion – Elizabeth Snyder (Buckley-Carpenter Elementary), 3rd place – Kayla Reeves (Fayette Academy), and 2nd place – Ethan Smith (Rossville Christian Academy).
